As part of our work with Anthony Nolan, we're pleased to announce that we have launched a brand new sleepsuit for babies in collaboration with their Cord Blood offering. 

Anthony Nolan offers mothers in London, Leicester and Manchester the chance to

donate their baby’s umbilical cord after birth because the blood can be used for stem cell transplants.

Cord blood can be a vital for patients in need an urgent stem cell transplants as it is available immediately. Cord blood also gives patients who are not able to find a

matching adult donor a second chance at life.

Blood remaining in the baby’s placenta and umbilical cord is stem cell rich and can

be used for transplants to save the life of someone with a blood disorder or blood

cancer.

Cord blood is vital for people from minority ethnic backgrounds, in need of a

lifesaving stem cell transplant, because they are less likely to have a matching stem cell donor on the register.

NEXT will donate a minimum of 20% of the profits from this sleepsuit to Anthony

Nolan, the charity saving the lives of people with blood cancer or a blood disorder.
